A purple version of Thing, the severed yet animated hand from the Adams Family Franchice, is undergoing a series of work place related injuries. In a slapstick manner the five-fingered creature reenters the stage again and again, only to undergo another work related tragedy. Presented on an iphone, installed in a light ring stand for recording web content, facing the handless statue of Antinoos Belvedere, Accidental Thing in this coinstellation speaks directly to the idealising of the male body versus the neglect and still ensuing abuse of the worker's body.
